Grandparents Raising Grandchildren

Support Group

Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church sponsors a support group for Grandparents Raising Grandchildren through a program of the University of Arizona Cooperative Extension.  This program, called Kinship Kare of Northern Arizona (KKONA), is free for all grand family caregivers.  The caregiver does not need to have legal guardianship to participate.  These sessions are a time for camaraderie and support, as well as education.  Meetings are held the second Thursday of each month from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m.  Anyone who could benefit from this support group is welcome to join.
